LOST STAR

Far away in the endless sky

I search for stars…

To my surprise, not a single star appears in the sky

Do stars are afraid to come out?

When I look at the sky…

I feel low and doubt surrounds me…

Will stars ever appear again?

In the neighbourhood a dog barks and an infant cries

A sudden rift started in my mind...

Will there be again glow in the sky?

I don’t know about the future...

But from the present I can assure...

The struggling life of individuals, lead their souls to lose...

Just like a ‘lost star’.

MOONLIGHT

In the moon’s dim light

I saw my reflection in the mirror…

Half disguise, half seen

Is this the true nature of a human being!

Whole world was in a deep slumber

But the sleep was far away from me…

Someone in neighbourhood was playing piano

In the midnight, the sweet melodious Beethoven…

Making my heart sink

I closed my eyes for some moments…

Is this the heaven which am seeing?

My soul purifies with the sound…

Bringing joy to my restless mind

Seems like my dark side is vanishing…

In the glow of moonlight.
